Join us in commemorating a pivotal moment in history. April 30th marks the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. In honor of the men and women of Ventura County who served, fought, and died in the Vietnam War, the John Spoor Broome Library in partnership with George J. Sandoval and the Oxnard Film Society, presents We Remember: Ventura County to Vietnam and Back.Through his incredible storytelling skills, George J. Sandoval brings to life the stories of the brave young men and women from Ventura County who served in Vietnam. Many of them never returned. Using photos, text, paintings, video interviews, and documentaries, visitors are taken on a journey through their experiences during the conflict. Experience the profound and moving stories of Ventura County’s heroes.
George J. Sandoval is the owner and producer of WestEnd Productions, a production company based in Ojai that has produced documentaries such as Courage and Contribution: The Chinese in Ventura County, We Remember: End of Innocence, and 14 Days with Omar.
