Camarillo Art Center — See You in September

Camarillo Art Center is taking work from Ventura County artists for the open call exhibit “See You in September.”

Organizers said the exhibit is “what do you want us to experience when we see you in September.”

Categories are two-dimensional media and three-dimensonal limited space.

Awards will be given for first, second and third places as well as honorable mention and Best in Show.

All art must be wired ready to hang and submitted with title, medium, price and artist’s name on back of work.

Entry fee per entry is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Artists can submit a maximum of three works.

Entry take-in is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wed., Aug. 30. Those who need to schedule a different time can email Bonnie Mills at the address below.

The event runs Sept. 2 through Oct 1.

The artists reception is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sun., Sept. 10. Awards will be given at 1:30 p.m.

Art take-down is 3 p.m. Sun., Oct. 1.
