Do you buy from local farms and want to learn more about how your food was grown? Are you a student wanting to learn about regenerative agriculture? Or maybe you want a low-stakes way of trying out farming as a career.
McGrath Family Farms is now offering a four-week-long Saturday curriculum on our 31 acres of regenerative farmland in Camarillo, California, so you can get an inside look at mission-based production agriculture. Over the course of the month, you’ll learn how to plant and nurture your crop, and even harvest and take home what you’ve grown!
No background in farming necessary, all are welcome.
What you’ll get:
Hands-on training from experienced mentor farmers
Resources to point you in the direction of your goals
30% off your first order from Farmivore (within our delivery zone.)
Daily snacks fresh from the farm
This course starts on the first Saturday of each month and meets for the next three consecutive Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. We intentionally keep our class sizes small to ensure a quality experience so if a class fills up, make sure to check back the following month.
