This summer, the WFVZ Bird Museum and Research Center invites kids in grades 3rd through 8th to join us for a Junior Research Academy learning event! This mini-summer camp-esque event will be split into weekly sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm, with time for drop-off and pick-up. Using our museum collections and knowledgeable staff biologists and educators, children will learn to find and identify local birds, discover local ecosystems and food pyramids, conduct scientific observations and experiments, and learn about careers in science and museums.
