Luckily, local Camarillo organizations are offering virtual activities that anyone can enjoy. Whether you’re looking to expand your art knowledge with paint classes or you want to take in beautiful art by talented local artists, we got you covered with this list of enjoyable virtual classes and activities.

Studio Channel Islands – Virtual Tours and Education

Enjoy breathtaking local art from the comfort of your home. Studio Channel Islands offers tours of the changing exhibitions with a variety of artists from around the world. Take in boundary breaking and innovative pieces that artists have poured their creativity on as you browse the various rooms of the art gallery from your home. In addition to the studio tours, they offer virtual educational art classes for children and adults. Children educational classes are hosted by Helen Dziadulewicz who teaches “Wild About Art” and the Center Stage Players and Arts Repertory that focuses on the Performing Arts. The Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology – Virtual Tutoring

The Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology is a hub for knowledgeable instructors that are pleased to offer a tutoring program for science, biology, and related subjects. The science educators are sure to make learning an enjoyable and valuable experience for kids and their parents. The tutoring services are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 2:00 and 6:00 pm and Wednesday 10 am to 3 pm. To sign up for the program visit their website

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District – Virtual Recreation

Want to enrich your days with recreational activities? PVRPD is offering a variety of virtual recreational activities that can be enjoyed from anywhere. The classes offered include painting fundamentals, painting from photographs, free health classes, on demand sports camps, and much more. They also offer youth enrichment classes such as STEAMLab:Architecture Academy, TechKidz: App Inventor, Marine Biology, just to name a few.
