Celebrate the vibrant voices of Ventura County at the third annual Ventura County Poetry Festival. Over four days, attendees can experience a smorgasbord of events. Join the community for celebrations of culture and identity, workshops that range from jazz to dreaming, competitions that speed by at a mile a minute, book launches that honor blossoming talent, and lively performances that blend art, music, and written word.

We are excited to welcome headlining poets Emma Trelles and Verónica Reyes to the stage on Saturday, and Lynne Thompson and Jeffrey McDaniel on Sunday. Sunday’s readings will also feature Poetry Heroes, in which we are honored to hear from David Olivera, Perie Longo & Suzanne Lummis.
