The Point Mugu Surf Contest started in 2008 as a way to engage the local surf community to access this restricted and well-known surf break

The contest attracts surfers of all skill levels and surfing notoriety. From the long time locals to World Surf League (WSL) professionals.

The 2024 Point Mugu Surf Contest includes four divisions; Military, Open Men’s, Open Women’s, & Jr’s (17 & under). This year surfers in each division will compete to win cash prizes and some killer SWAG from our sponsors. All proceeds benefit our Navy Quality of Life Programs here at Naval Base Ventura County.

2024 marks the 10th anniversary of this epic event. We hope to see you there!
