Imaginarium Atlantis
Visit Camarillo was excited to partner once again with Imaginarium and host the second annual open house for their newly reimagined event: Imaginarium Atlantis. Now on display at the Camarillo Premium Outlets through October 26th, our tourism partners, friends, content creators, and more came together to witness this spectacular festival of light for an exclusive viewing. Wings Over Camarillo Air Show
In partnership with the County of Ventura Department of Airports, County of Ventura Economic Vitality, and the City of Camarillo Economic Development, Visit Camarillo hosted friends, families, and business connections to a VIP experience at the 44th annual Wings Over Camarillo Air Show. This year, we highlighted the soft launch of Area 805, Ventura County’s new Advanced Air Mobility Test Range, which is about to put our region on the map as a launchpad for next-gen aircraft, drone tech, and even air taxis. It’s not just an airspace—it’s a whole new space for innovation. Learn more.

This guide takes you on a journey through Camarillo, featuring our rich history and iconic landmarks, to the people who helped shape the city. 2025 Annual Tourism Luncheon
Visit Camarillo hosted the 2025 Annual Tourism Luncheon, celebrating all things PLAY, at the picturesque Camarillo Grove Park in May. Just in time for California Tourism Month and National Travel and Tourism Week, this event united key sectors of Camarillo’s tourism economy to celebrate the industry’s shared successes and its positive impact on our community. A thriving tourism industry attracts investment, encourages entrepreneurship, and enhances residents’ overall quality of life by supporting a vibrant, dynamic community.
Hotel Updates
Opening in Q1 of 2026, Home2 Suites by Hilton Camarillo will offer visitors a modern, comfortable, and convenient stay in the heart of the city’s shopping district. With 122 spacious suites, complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, and free WiFi, the hotel is designed to meet the needs of both leisure and business travelers. Guests will enjoy on-site amenities such as an outdoor pool and a pet-friendly environment, making it an ideal choice for extended stays and weekend getaways. Located adjacent to the Camarillo Premium Outlets, one of Ventura County’s top shopping destinations, the hotel provides unparalleled access to world-class retail, dining, and nearby attractions.
The Embassy Suites and Conference Center is currently under construction and expected to open TBA. Part of a 14-acre master plan by RYS Architects, the property will feature 155 guestroom suites, 17,500 square feet of meeting and pre-function space, and outdoor breakout areas including a spacious courtyard. Guests will enjoy a restaurant, sports bar, fitness center, and outdoor pool and spa, along with a destination Brazilian steakhouse and wine bar that open onto a lively outdoor dining courtyard. Designed to complement the Camarillo Premium Outlets and surrounding area, this new development will bring both convenience and sophistication to the region.
