Mark your calendars for the Point Mugu Air Show returning to Ventura County on March 18 and 19, 2023. The premier air show on California’s central coast touches down at Point Mugu with spectacular aerial displays, jaw-dropping plane exhibits and hands-on robotics and flight science interactions.
Set at the beautiful Naval Base Ventura County in Point Mugu, this free event opens its gates at 8 a.m. both days and offers something for everyone. From kid-friendly exhibits to awe-inspiring displays of aviation technology and pilot skill, this is an event for all ages. This year is the first year both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds will perform at the same time at Point Mugu and the third time in military aviation history!
Watch the legendary Blue Angels and Thunderbirds fly in formation, or get up close and personal with some of the most advanced fighter jets on the planet like the F/A-18 Super Hornet and the F-16C Fighting Falcon. Stay to see the Red Bull Sky Dive Team parachute from the sky in style.
Exhibits include a special STEM exhibit where participants of all ages can get hands-on with robotics, drones and flight science exhibits. Make sure to stop by this engaging and educational exhibit for a look at the science and engineering behind these marvels of aviation.

- Take the Las Posas Road exit and travel South 7 miles to Naval Base Ventura County.
From Ventura / Southbound Highway 101
- Take the Rice Road exit and travel South to Pacific Coast Highway
- Take Pacific Coast Highway 3 miles and exit Wood Road
From Santa Monica / Northbound Pacific Coast Highway 1
- Take Pacific Coast Highway to the Wood Road exit
